About College:

The main objective behind establishing the college was to provide the facility of Higher Education to the students from Ajara taluka, especially girl students. Realising these difficulties of the Taluka people, the founder Chiarman of Janata Education Society Late. Hon. K. V. Charathi and the Former C.E.O., Late Hon. M.V. Deshpande founded this college from 1982 with Commerce stream eventually started Arts stream in 1983, Science stream in 1993 and Computer application stream in 2008.

Their efforts have yielded very good results. Today there are more than one thousands students in the college. Out of which more than 60% students are girls.
