A guest lecture on subject “Snakes Our Friends” was jointly organized by Department of Zoology, Environment Science and Science forum. prof.Anil Magar,Head Department of Zoology,Dr.GhaliCollege,Gadhinglaj delivered the lecture on the occasion of festival Nagpanchami. He described importance of snakes in food chain. With the help of posters information of different snakes were given by him. He also explained snake bite and first aid treatment. One hundred fifty students and ten faculty members from science faculty were present to the function.Vice prin.prof.DilipSankpal chaired the function in presence of and office superintendent Mr.YogeshPatil.
