Employability Enhancement Training Program

 

Department of Computer Science under the guidance of IQAC, in collaboration with Mahindra Pride Classroom Project of Naandi Foundation, Pune, Maharashtra organized three days full time training course ‘Employability Enhancement Training Program’ during 14th March to 16th March 2023, for final year girl students. Mahindra Pride Classroom is a unique CSR initiative of Mahindra Group of Companies, as part of their mission to skill and make employable the young men and women across the country. The aim of this program is to train, skill and help place the final year students of your institute at absolutely no cost to the student. This course enhanced the students’ personality, general awareness, communication skills in English, Life skills and knowledge of computer applications. The life skills component of the training module completely transformed the students into confident, determined, goal-oriented youth.

Principal, Dr. A. N. Sadale, inaugurated this training course by watering the plant. Mahindra Pride Classroom’s Trainer Ms. Apurva Oak, Shri. Yogesh Patil, IQAC Coordinator Dr. K. G. Potdar, Asst. Prof. N. S. Kulkarni, Head of Dept. Computer Science, Asst. Prof. L. G. Mulik were present on the dais. Asst. Prof. N. S. Kulkarni welcomed the dignitaries and introduced the guests. Dr. A. N. Sadale addressed the participants. He stated, we should organize such programs to inculcate the soft skills in the students, it will help in all around development of students’ personality, our student should be an industry ready product. Inauguration function was concluded after proposing vote of thanks by Asst. Prof. L. G. Mulik.

Trainer, Ms. Apurva oak, conducted all sessions. The sessions were enjoyed by participants. It was a good participative learning experience to participants. Three days training was concluded with a valedictory function on 16th March. Many students expressed their experiences about this course in valedictory function, this proves the success of training program. Dr. A. N. Sadale felicitated Ms. Apurva Oak for their support and conducting a wonderful training program for girls. Asst. Prof. N. S. Kulkarni stated ‘The objective of organization of this program has met, and entire program was fruitful’. Dr. K. G. Potdar assured participants for organizing more sessions from this perspective in his speech. Asst. Prof. L. G. Mulik proposed vote of thanks. Ms. Seema Bhagwat, North East Regional Manager of Naandi Foundation and Mr. Pankaj Dandage, Training Coordinator at Naandi Foundation helped us in organization of this training program.
