Aims & Objectives:

  • To acquaint students with the basic concepts in Geography. 
  • To improve students’ observation power with regard to geographical and environmental phenomenon. 
  • To create environmental awareness (e. g. Global Warming) among students with the help of Internet, ICTs (PPTs), Atlases and Earth-Globe etc.

  1. Know the nature and characteristics of different types of soil.
  2. Understand human impact as an active factor in soil transformation, erosion, and degradation.
